Andrew (Andrew Gurland) is just a documentary filmmaker who would like to make an image about modern-day mail purchase wedding. This young filmmaker unknowingly gets too involved in his topics in this darkly mockumentary that is comic. This strange, often ridiculous mockumentary compares the love that two completely different males feel for the exact exact exact same simple, submissive helpmate.
Andrew believes he’s found the subject that is perfect their film as he satisfies Adrian (Adrian Martinez), a stocky snake enthusiast from Queens, NY, whom earns their living as a doorman and has never ever had much luck with women.
Adrian really wants to look for a bride from a marriage that is professional agency called Paradise Girls, a matchmaking service for US men and Asian females and then he agrees to invest in the N.Y.C. doorman’s East Asian mail-order bride in return for the best to movie the feeling and then make a film about him.. Andrew is readily available on her arrival and her start being a bride/handmaid.
Adrian soon weds Lichi (Eugenia Yuan), A burmese that is attractive woman but Andrew is lower than happy to find out what Adrian wants from their relationship is a lady who can feed mice to their animal python, make chili just just how he likes it, and maintain the household spotless while sometimes indulging a few of their odder intimate fantasies.
